DRAFT. REQUIRES LEGAL REVIEW. This document describes the system as actually built. It has not been reviewed by an attorney and is not legal advice.
The short version
What you type inside a Lens is not transmitted to us or stored by us. It stays in your browser on your own device, and the keepsake summary is generated there too.
Like any website, ours receives ordinary technical information when your browser makes a request: your IP address, request headers, and timing. We use privacy-first analytics that does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
What we collect, and when
Lens free text: never sent
Your situation, your notes, and your Lens Shift are held in your browser only. They are not sent to our servers, our analytics, our email provider, or any AI system.
Usage events: no personal content
We record that steps happened: a Lens was viewed, begun, a stage completed, a keepsake saved, someone joined the list. Alongside these we record only approved campaign fields (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content), a shortened referring domain, an anonymous per-session identifier that is discarded when you close the tab, and the version of the experience. We do not log full web addresses or query strings.
Your email address: only if you give it
If you join the list we store the address you submit, your consent, and where you signed up. You can unsubscribe from any email. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Inquiries: sent on purpose
The form on Work with us is transmitted to us, because that is how we reply. We store what you send so we can respond and follow up.
Who else sees it
Our website is served by Cloudflare. Email is handled by our email provider. Both process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.
